• Tactronics: Managed the design of zeolyte-based air-to-water compression system for military applications. Designed multimedia logos for web pages. Developed “Optical Control” software for Advanced Engineering Labs. Wrote patent for composite laminate material; supported product endurance tests, proving candidate composite durability. Appointed group leader role based on performance and previous management experience.
• Stanford Clinical Trials Group: Supported clinical research coordination effort, interviewing candidates and managing team in recruiting subjects for clinical trials. Upon completion, was reassigned to support RNA gene therapy study. Documented candidate responses, developing statistical information from more than 2,000 Bay Area residents.
• Santa Clara County Planning Council: Contracted to investigate allocation of federal and state funds, reviewing annual budget, prioritizing contracts, and assessing project requirements.
• UCLA Clinical Trails Group: Recruited candidate subjects for special government-funded study to determine correlation between illicit drug use, HIV/AIDS status, and employment status with surprising results. Provided basic training in harm reduction, motivational interviewing, and an analysis of drug resistance education/advertising to Care Center staff and patients.
• Universal Studios: Coordinated the development of a motion simulation device which stimulates exteroceptors and proprioceptors to simulate human interaction with the environment. Defined common dry & wet sensations for programmers.
• Sprint PCS: Assisted in launching Vision concept with 2.5-3G cellular marketing and sales strategy, featuring a comparative analysis of GSM / GPRS, and IS-95 / CDMA2000 architecture. Provided technical requirements and cost analysis of 802.11b (WiFi) & 802..16e (WiMAX) broadband WWAN architecture.
• B&T Medical: Turned work practices into workflow processes, developing independent UIs for specialists using EMR/CIS database.

Senior Engineer / Project Manager 1998 – 2002
• Supported high profile global customer base, providing “fixes” to web page HTML / XML code, and introducing customers to bandwidth friendly CSS in addition to providing network support, managing fault detection processes and providing documentation.
• Principal designer of Global Data Link a flexible (64kps to 1Tbps) private line network service featuring resilient SONET / SDH ring architecture, microwave radio relay links, DWDMs / WDMs, DXCs, MSPs, and customer-controllable bandwidth allocation.
• Collaborated in OSPF area segmentation and fault / performance management studies, directing equipment evaluation, selection and implementation for all terrestrial fiber optic, microwave, and satellite networks throughout the Americas region.
• Facilitated the seamless integration of legacy global data networks and expansion to 150 new city sites.
• Managed team in the design, configuration, homologation, exportation, regulatory, and implementation of NNIs in transitioning Sprint’s Global One customers to the MCI WorldCom facilities during the attempted acquisition of Sprint by WCOM.

• Reuters America: Managed the deployment of the largest corporate-owned global frame relay test bed, virtually mirroring production network. Coordionation with parent organization to introduce groundbreaking real-time multimedia switching system. Developed five-year strategic plan.
• Morgan Stanley: Managed the design, planning, and implementation of a 5000 node global network, coordinating with MS IT team and Cisco for the early release of Catalyst switches, designed to make MS the most technologically advanced brokerage house.
• General Electric-Apprise: Facilitated the migration of 15 legacy networks routed through Cisco multiprotocol routers.
• Exxon: Coordinated the design of corporate intranets, featuring secure gateway access to Internet users.
